I'm Kadence Englehardt. My true passions are designing, writing, and traveling (okay, I'm a self-confessed bookworm, too).


Past: Originally from the Midwest, I could only be tied down for so long. My parents instilled a love of travel to me at a young age. While studying in college, I had the opportunity to travel extensively and live for a year in Europe. It was here that I discovered my true loves: design and writing. Upon my return, I decided to transfer and study in Seattle, Washington.


Present: I'm a 2010 graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle, with an AA in Interior Design. I also write for Bemis Art Community, and on my own blogs, KadenceDesignBlog and Rhythm. I'm available for freelance design or writing needs. We should have coffee together and discuss what I can do for you or your company.


Future: I thrive on change and learning new things. My medium is constantly changing: words, rooms, subjects, ideas…the possibilities are endless. I find that life is nothing more than what we make it, which is why I live everyday reveling in each, beautiful moment.
