I've been designing interiors since I could hold a paintbrush. I remember going to my parents with ideas for changing my bedroom, and because of the freedom they so lovingly gave me, we went off to Home Depot the next day.

Today, my thoughts have grown into belief that the spaces in which we live and work have the most prodigious effect on our lives. I also feel designers have a huge responsibility to the users of a space and the environment.

There is an inherent relationship between preservation, traditional design, and sustainable design. It's basically the "reduce, reuse, recycle" mantra but in architectural terms. Every project is a chance to challenge traditional design solutions, and create sustainable, functional, and healthy spaces.
