HP location tool

Created UI and UX flow of a location tool for HP Support. Working with regional leads, development team and subject matter experts; I helped to develop the tool within our budget and development capacity, while also adhering to existing brand standards and backend restrictions.

UX flow of customer journey

Basic flow was mapped out before creating a click through prototype to share in stakeholder reviews for sign off and development guidance.

Initial tool was created for fast turn around and testing purposes. With data being collected, we have found additional use cases and requirements from both the regions and the customer.

Version 2 additions include:

  • Region drop-down to help break up the long list of eligible countries.
  • Product type drop-down with easier selections for customer.
  • Expanded details pane to allow for longer address requirements and multiple email fields.
  • Added capability of emailing results from page.

Final updated comps were created in XD at desktop and mobile sizes. Specs were passed off to development team via Zeplin and any remaining edits were discussed during story grooming.
